Who told you this? Looking at the part (again just from the pictures previously posted), that looks like a stand alone system? Unplug lines, replace, re-fill brake system, bleed, test drive, voila....

Replaced the sensor, CEL's have yet to return. Sounds like problem has been solved.

Not the easiest clip (inside the engine) to change, but got er done :)

$65 later, the dealer tells me its a LF wheel speed (ABS) sensor that's toast (code C0104). I wasn't able to find the code on the list, so I'm not sure exactly what that means.
