  1. 2009 Legacy Spec.B Location: Ballston Spa, NY Price: $8900 Mileage: 150000 Transmission: 6MT with STI front differential I'm selling my '09 Spec.B. I really enjoyed this car and it was my daily for almost 10 years. I bought a '13 Sti hatchback, so this one has to go. Engine- Short block replaced at +/- 80k with factory Subaru short block with Manley "turbo tuf" forged pistons. At that time TGV and air pump delete was performed. ID1000 and VF52 installed. Car has aftermarket silicone intake. AVO intercooler. Some catless downpipe. Cobb accesport (2.0) Timing belt/water pump/oil pimp/pickup replaced with engine. Trans- When the engine was out the open front differential was replaced with a helical STi front. The flywheel was upgraded to a STi sized unit and a Cryo treated South bend clutch installed. The trans has a Kartboy Spec.b shifter with the assorted bushings. Suspension- Koni "yellow" single adjustable struts with King lowering springs. Whiteline front and rear sway bars. I do have the stock struts/springs and sway bars. (65k miles give or take) Brakes- 08 STi brembo front/painted 04 rear with the oversized rear parking brake shoes to allow use of 04 (5x100) rotors. Stainless braded brake lines. Wheels- 18x8.5 Enkei touring Raijin wrapped in 235/40R18 Michelin pilot sports. Tires are worn. Body- Normal dings for a 12+ year old car. Paint shines up well. Rust on passenger rear wheel well arch in the "normal" spot. Rust chip on upper windshield edge over drivers side. I'm sure I'm forgetting things. Link from when I bought the car in '12, mods have changed. https://legacygt.com/forums/showthre...ld-187813.html Current Photos, I will try and take more https://photos.app.goo.gl/Lu1VSQDE5CdCQQMD6
  2. I'd hope they were getting 02-07 WRX (that also doesn't have flex fuel support) confused with 05-09 LGT support. Being that the Legacy shares much with the 08+ WRX, which has support, hopefully that is good for us seeing it sooner than the early WRX guys.
  3. The black is just the picture. It is bare cast.
  4. I don't see a part number anywhere on it. I was told it had "8xxx Total miles" The only marks on the whole unit I see are a small electro-penciled "E" on the side of the body, and a scribe mark that looks like it was used to keep track of the two halves when it was taken apart. Not giving me the warm and fuzzies. And after looking harder, under the ring gear side end bearing, there is a, X 5 V 2 all separated from each other by 90*
  5. I meant 12 bolt. I have a front diff that was sold to me as being from an 08 sti with 8k miles. It has 12 bolts. So it should fit. Just makes me a bit leery that it was misrepresented. I doubt it, but is there any way to check a diff out of a car? http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=124361&d=1343436420
  6. Does any one know when the switch from 12 to 8 bolt front differentials happened? Or more specifically, will the 12 bolt front diff I have from an 08 sti fit my 09 spec b?
