No not really. It provides better flow and more sound. For real power gains you need to get an aftermarket tune either stage 1 or 2 and other supporting mods as mentioned here already.

Yeah that is the part. There is a metal clip in there that locks into a slot on the handle arm that holds it in place. Release the clip and the handle should come right off.

I have no vibration issues or noise with the kartboy STS on mine. The hardened bushings will by default transmit some additional tranny noise then the OEM bushings.

bCafe: the issue is with the pistons not the slide pins. It's pretty easy to tell after you fully compress both pistons and inspect you will see that one of the two pistons won't fully retract flush.

I went with a Duralast Gold battery replacement. Its sits ever so slightly taller then the OEM but fits just fine. It has worked really well and got it for $100 at the time from Autozone

There is no easy way to test the idler pulley bearing but a new one isn't much money and is easy to replace as a first step vs the throwout bearing which requires a breakdown of the clutch to replace...

I am pretty sure it's your Idler pulley on the AC...

I am pretty sure it's your Idler pulley on the AC belt side. The bearings are gone. Mine made an even higher pitch whine at idle until I replaced it.

I have used the older Black OEM Tokyo Roki filters until they switched manufacturers to the blue version. Other wise I use Napa gold, made by Wix or Wix filters.
