they pushed as much as possible out of it 317chp.. it sucks when they push the tune to the limit as once the other components begin to wear... you gonna have problems. Compression test it right away...

air leaks are pretty easy actually, have the car in park or neutral and with a can of Carb cleaner(Maf cleaner works to just is more expensive) spray all air lines with it and listen for an increase...

Gds blow up there transmissions all the time to. So if your wrecked wrx has 150+ miles the transmission probably isn't the strongest. Also the wheel bearings are beefier on the legacy so I don't know...
