Did literally the exact same thing, but clay barred the front bumper as well. Still looks like poop. 100k miles worth of rock-chips doesn't look good no matter how much you polish it.

Like Catalyst said, get your maintenance out of the way first.. This can be pretty expensive, but you want to make sure your car will run well enough to last through the mods....

Second, don't go full exhaust- go stg2, which is uppipe, downpipe, and a tune. It really unleashes the beast, without making too much noise.
