I haven't transferred any contacts, but I can stream music. The main hastle though is that you then can't skip tracks from the steering wheel controls so I got an iPod cable installed.

I went for my own solution for the footwells... warm white LED's and tapped the overhead console. They fade in and out with the dome lights

I haven't really noticed any other issues with the stereo (other than the voice dialling) and I'm quite happy with it. Guess I'm not that fussy about it - I've got a Bose setup...
