I don't use Armour All as I have not had good experience with it in the past (it leave a residue on the windshield after use)... At worst I use window cleaner on the glass and some of the cleaner...

In the photo you can see my fingerprints, within hours they will be gone. There is no residue that you can feel on you finger when you touch it either.

The dash is not truly melted... It is just constantly sticky no matter the temperature. It's like the material has broken down over time. It hasn't even faded. ...

I have a 2007 Spec B that doesn't use a drop of oil between 5000 mile changes. I would check the PCV it is stuck or not... By the way I use Castrol GTX and have used Mobil 1 and both worked fine...
