Smacked a curb at low speed the other day . . . the result being a bent LCA. I've already ordered the part (complete with bushings), but am unsure of my ability (equipment / time / level of effort)...

I never confirmed the u-joint myself it was done at a friend's shop.

So to sum things up:

Hub bearing
Throw out bearing
U-joint

Super fun and easy to diagnose when they all happen at...

already did. there is zero noise/vibration...

already did. there is zero noise/vibration coming from the other bearing. all vibration is centered and no noise.

Hey everyone.

I'm driving a 2005 outback i with some vibration issues. The problem was initially being masked by a bad wheel bearing, which once replaced, only relieved half the symptoms.

Just completed this pretty easily, but like others the backing plate and bearing needed to come off together and be coerced with a beating. Other than that no snags and awesome walkthrough.
