  1. Awesome! I found this thread after purchasing an 06 Outback last week and was trying to figure out what to do with the radio, it needs serious upgrade - but first things first - my iPod. Looked at all my options and found the jazzy aux mod and ordered it. It was at my house in 3 business days. It came with everything I needed, had great instructions, and is now installed in my car! It took about 2.5 hours and was really simple. Works great and sounds much better than fm modulator. Thanks very much jazzy. One note on the install that may not be clear in the instructions. With one cd unit, before pulling the unit out of the console, you have to remove the climate control housing from the console face plate (this is mentioned in the instructions), there are two little plastic clips and two screws on each side that hold the white climate control housing in place remove those (just like the instuctions say) but you also should remove the mounting bracket on the right side to allow the climate control unit to seperate more easily. my $.02 Now i just need an amp and some better speakers... suggestions? I am moving into this car from an 05 yukon denali that had a factory bose stereo with 16 speakers and a sub... i am a bit spoiled but I LOVE my new Subura and my new gas milage. I think this car has the same if not more ground clearance that my yukon. If anyone has suggestions on amp and speakers i woud love to hear it.
