  1. Looking for both pieces of the stock downpipes (both cats) if you have them! Possibly also interested in the rest of the stock exhaust if it's in good shape.
  2. Do you / will you have the stock downpipe & mid pipe with cats available once you start the part out?
  3. I'm sure that I would -- I borrowed a downpipe from a friend last time but they no longer have their LGT.
  4. Looking to buy a catted stock downpipe for my 2005 LGT MT Wagon. I believe the part numbers are: 44101AG070 44102AG030 Thanks!
  5. And the impact did it! I was just able to jam my Milkwaukee M18 Fuel ½" Drive Impact with an acquired for purpose 22m shallow impact socket in front of the radiator support. It took it off in 15 seconds. Crank pulley came off easily by hand once the bolt was out. Starting the actual work tomorrow.
  6. Putting it back together on Saturday and taking it down to get the refrigerant collected -- I had a new condenser and compressor sitting on the shelf anyway waiting to go in once it started to heat up. 3-day weekend for me and the shop is open Saturday and Monday so it's pretty good timing. Should work out well as long as the impact takes care of it! Will report back.
  7. Good suggestion but no dice. Got a MAP torch, have alternated 30 seconds heat and PB blaster application several times. I wish I had had a shop recover the refrigerant before I started this so I could take the condenser out and get my 1000ft-lb impact in there...
  8. Doing my second timing belt. First time I used the starter trick to loosen the crank pulley without issue. This time the starter doesn't seem to have enough torque to break it loose. Using my breaker bar with a long piece of square tube on it and the car in 5th isn't doing it either -- at least not with me at the end of it. I've sprayed the bolt with PB Blaster a couple of times and am charging the battery to try and get a little more torque out of the starter. Any other ideas if it's still not coming loose in the morning?
  9. I found a kit on eBay utilizing new parts: http://www.ebay.com/itm/252332680584?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I liked the idea of getting ones without any wear so I didn't end up having to do this again 6-12 months down the road. Installed today and it's working great so far. It came with a new coil but I didn't bother installing it as I couldn't see any reason it would be functioning any worse than factory. Everything went very smoothly. The only tricky bit was getting the distance between the two clutch faces right. The new assembly came with two thin washers. The stock assembly was installed with a thick washer and a medium washer. For me, the thick washer and medium washer together had the two parts just touching so I added another thin washer to separate them slightly. It's possible that as these wear-in the washer stack-up may need adjusting. In fact, I think it's possible that if I'd just adjusted the spacing the stock one would have run longer. The parts are definitely not identical to the stock ones been seem well enough made. I'll post back in 6 months time to update everyone on how they're holding up.
  10. Just did this install along with new SS lines and Super Blue fluid. The brake feel is vastly improved. The combination of moving away from the SS lines and adding the larger bore master cylinder seem to have mostly cancelled out any change in braking effort. The only part I had trouble with was the check valve. On my first attempt at shoving it in I damaged it and it would no longer hold boost. I ended up going with the S13/S14 Inline Valve. Slightly more than the vacuum hose but overall a more elegant solution in my opinion.
