I'm at 135K on my original VF40 stage II with about 18 peak boost. Sounds like it depends on who takes good proactive care of their car.

STI/11+ WRX arms move the wheel further forward (in addition to the wider track, the arms have increased caster built in) but Subaru doesn't see the need to change the rack position vs the normal...
