tire size help

Looking for tires for an 18x8 wheel

I see the xenonk post where

1. 235/40/18 may need fender rolling

2. 235/35/18 was closest to stock diameter.

The 2nd ones are near impossible...

i have an 05 STI with 5x114.3 and let me tell you, finding 5x114.3 in subaru fitments/offsets is a BITCH! Don't do it solely for wheel selection, the markets not as big as you think.

Anyone know where I can get a package deal. I'm getting the 18" prodrive PFF7 in bright flitter for the wifes LGT this week. Since I'm in Iraq, I'd rather just have them delivered with tires...

I would swap the rims, but the damn 05 STI has a 5x114 bolt pattern so its a misfit amongst the Subaru community. I wish I could swap, because now I want black or gunmetal rims on mine.

COBB st 2 really good for 12's?

Forgive me, but I'm not on the LGT site too much. If I get a turboback and Cobb Accessport is that all that really is needed to get 12's. Can this be protuned same as for STI's? This is my wifes...

there is a write up on iwsti.com that discusses the 04 - 05 swap for wheels and such. It seemed to very lengthy and expensive. Much more than you'd think, or I'd think anyways.
