well actually that made the drive shaft rub...
well actually that made the drive shaft rub against the heat shield pretty badly so I ended up swapping the carrier over from the auto's shaft and that made everything line up really well.

Pitch stop not lining up
So I just completed my 5 sp conversion and everything is great except the engine seems to tilt back a little bit causing the pitch stop mount to be off by about an inch. I'm having a bit of trouble...
