Really most 75w-90 synthetic gear oil should do. I recommend amsoil severe gear for about that same price. Also I have heard good things about redline but the oem or valvoline will be just fine.

I just did a full flush in my garage on my 4EAT. It took about 30 minutes. I ended up using exactly 9 quarts of ATF, but I bought 12. Also the last step require a buddy for 10 minutes.

Amsoil is always quality, but my local Subaru dealership had the ATF-HP for $7.43 a quart. Just picked myself up 12 quarts today.

75w-90 is exactly what you need in the front and rear diff.

However I do mostly city driving and I get between 22-24 mpg. Got 412 Miles on my last highway trip on one tank of gas though! :)
