i got it figured out, the previous owner had the pads on wrong, once i took off the right side rear inside, i found it had a tab, so my rear left had two outside pads, thats why my new pads looked...

I am in need of new pads and am making the switch to a better performing pad. I like the HPS and have only heard good things. BUT I DRIVE IN SUB FREEZING TEMPERATURES REGULARLY, WILL THESE PADS WORK...
