I think maybe the bulb is just out I'm not sure why the fuse was in there it was there when I bought the car and it had a zip tie holding it in.not unless they were trying to fix the binding issue as...

Update,pulled fwd fuse put the rear drive shaft back in it still binds up when turning and rear wheels pull with fuse in or out so I'm thinking its the clutches locked up?but leaving the rear shaft...

ok i have a 97 legacyL awd.when i first got the car i noticed it felt like it was in awd all the time.it would buck and bind when turning it sharp,i seen on here to check the fuse(fwd)under the hood...

Yes can anyone tell me why my rear defrost will not work,i checked fuses and all are good.the light lights up on the switch but does not defrost,this is on a 97 legacy awd 4door sedan thx.

ok just removed rear shaft.drives great now.......should get better mpg now also.like i said there was a fuse already in the fwd but there is no lights on the cluster,should there be?

hello im new to the forum so i hope im putting this in the right spot.i have a 97 leg its awd but noticed it bucks and binds up when turning sharp like most 4x4s do when locked in is there nothing...
