  1. Not I said the fly.....190k no issues with a 300HP 3.7L coupled to it in a 07 MDX. They were terrible back in early 2000's eg at least 15 years ago.
  2. SHAWD is very reliable for me with 190k now. It works really well and only requires $24 in fluid every 40k or so(computer reminds) and my Subie mechanic charges me $20 labor(20 mins!) to change it while doing an oil change. I have it in a 2007 MDX. AWD never missed a beat and an absolute hoot on gravel roads at speed.
  3. Replace ac relay($10ish) and cross fingers. My case the original part worked intermittently.
  4. You need an infant car seat not a rear facing. They all work equally well the infant car seats and despite what they state are not more or less safe. We have three kids(8,6,6 months) and my wife got our 05 LGT 5mt wagon as a mommy mobile brand new with our first 8 months pregnant by herself with no regrets. I would go to a decent baby store that has all the different strollers and car seats that attach in. Make sure the stroller you pick stows into your trunks(take the smaller trunk/opening). They also let you put the seat in typically to see how it will work. I am not talking a chain. Reviews are good to read but you(couple) really need to test drive the stuff. That being said we jamb three across in our Legacy GT wagon in a pinch now. We were gifted a Graco snug ride and use it with some sort of $600(nuts!) stroller. I will state the buckles are pretty crappy/hard to use on Graco compared the previous Britax seats we have had. Congrats and good luck.
  5. 167k miles first CEL and major repair on a 2005 LGT: Burned Exhaust Valve and crossing fingers nothing further.
  6. OEM turbo(3k OCI dino) with 161k miles since brand new. Recent issues(150k-present/last year to present) 0) Spark plug coil 1) Valve Cover gasket 2) Dragging front caliper replaced 3) Fuel line leak so line replace under intake 4) Starter, alternator 5) New noise is noise in driveline or wheel bearings, TBD Before 150k from new, one single issue our throw out bearing failed($400 fix) at 105k. Nothing else.
  7. Mine did what you spoke of with dash going wild. Turned out to be faulty alternator regulator giving spikes of voltage. New alternator for me. Have you checked the alternator?
  8. Spotted a blue LGT wagon with aftermarket wheels and very clean at Newington(NH) Habitat for Humanity. My wife(driving her LGT 5mt wagon) wanted to park next to it and suprisingly see if a 5mt.
  9. 2005 BSM Legacy GT wagon 5mt with 145,000 miles all by us since new: Major stuff considered repairs: Rear wheel bearings (warranty) Alternator Starter Spark plug coil (recent) - skipping Clutch throw out bearing Front Calipers x 2-both seized Still rocking the OEM turbo which I attribute to my 3-4k OCI with whatever dino. Motor still does not burn a drop of oil between changes. We skipped the water pump during timing belt replacement so let you guys know how long OEM one is good for.
  10. You in Salisbury? I am over there all the time now at mother in law's who moved to RT1A to a winterized beach house.
  11. First spotting of 2010 LGT(white) for me besides dealership lot. I was on RT108 just past Exeter Subaru around 4pm.
  12. Spotted a blue LGT wagon across from Attitash at indoor pool for condo's on New Years.
  13. A black LGT wagon around 1PM in the Burlington Mall parking lot.
  14. Spotted a darker LGT (08 or 09) sedan with deep tints and red white blue MA plate getting off I495 at @ Haverhill/Plaistow(125) exit following an odd trailer full of bleachers. I was in an WRX wagon.
  15. Spotted a grey LGT sedan waiting in a long line of traffic on the off-ramp for Dascomb Road/Tewsbury exit on Thursday around 6pm.
