  1. So this new recall is related to the same spot as the old recall? What is the difference?
  2. Does anyone know the torque specs for any of the following : 1) Hub assembly bolts to steering knuckle 2) Ball joint pinch bolt 3) Strut bolts to knuckle 4) Ball joint castle nut 5) Tie rod end castle nut 6) Front control arm rear bolt 7) Front control arm "middle" bolt Can anyone confirm these specs : 1) Axle nut : 137 ft-lbs 2) Caliper to mount : 20 ft-lbs 3) Caliper mount to knuckle : 59 ft-lbs Thanks!
  3. But Cobb's AP dongle won't work with ROMRaider as far as I know. I bought a VAG-COM cable for $15, hopefully that will work when I get it. EDIT : I was talking about using ATR to log maps made with Street Tuner. When I tried that just after ATR came out it didn't work, Cobb didn't support it.
  4. Does Access Tuner RACE still not allow logging of third party maps, or did they open that up?
  5. Thank, MWiener. I figured that out after a while. At first I gave it (number 3) one full turn and didn't notice any difference, figured that wasn't it. I thought it would be near the number 4 peice.
  6. Where is this fabled adjustment nut under the center console? Am I blind?
  7. I have a SUS 99 2.2l sedan I was driving home one day and noticed the AT TEMP light comes ON so I decide to keep driving because i was 3 blocks away from home.

once i got there I noticed a kind of smoke comming underneath of the car.. WAS not the engine..

so I close the hood and wait till next day..

the next morning I started the car and let the engine warm up for little over 20 min. and i did not smell anything however the A/T temp light was on and Engine light as well.. TEMP was OK and everything else OK. I wait for another 10 more min. and nothign changed. well i decide to TEST Drive aorund my neighborhood (less 1/2 mile) and parked the car again.. THEN start smelling bad again..So i stoped the car and i noticed a "BOILING OIL" kind of sound comming from underneath of the transmission...

i checked the oil level.. was ok...the engine oil as well.

NEXT day I started the car again... and wait for 20 minutes... everything was normal.. the i just swith to "D" and stay there for little while... and the smell comes up again as well the "BOILING OIL" kind of noise..

    any idea what is happening?

i do not want to take to the transmission shop...

    thank you in advance

  8. Map?? That looks like a gay guy to me
  9. You want a consensus on oil related topics?!!!??! Nobody here can even read the LGT dipstick without some guessing
  10. Anybody know the part number for the '05+ Legacy auto-dim rear view mirror with compass and map lights (no home link)?
  11. With UP, DP, and CAI you'll want a stage 2 tune. Search and you can find the power stage 2 produces. You can use a stage 1 tune with no mods at all if you wish.
  12. I think it is okay to add coolant using the clear plastic, unsealed tank. If you were to completely drain and refill the system I think you would want to fill the sealed tank, then the siphon tank. I don't know for sure though, I'm a noob.
