  1. I've had my jazzy input for almost a year now and loving it. Got the ground loop and mini plug routed under the cupholder and drilled a hole for the mini to come into the armrest/compartment. From there I've got a belkin charger/dock connector. Pretty good set up except I've been driving around looking down for a year to change songs etc. time for an upgrade.... I got a vent mounted holder from mountguys and the ic-rca cable. The vent mount works great and I want to install the cable this weekend. I want to run the cable through the vent... I'm not sure if i can squeeze the rca's through the vent slats. How difficult is it to remove the center venting unit?? Even if I get it removed can I dismantle the slats to get the cable through?? Who has experience w/ this install? Thanks!
  2. Is the output from the ic-rca at line level? err just answered my own question, but does anyone know how the ic-rca output/amplification compares to the belkin line-level/charger?
  3. Will this "splice" disable any use of the actual outlet? like if I do this and I have my ipod running could I still plug in a phone charger? Jazzy, does the ic-rca cable come w/ instructions? I've been meaning to do this for a while now, so I can mount my ipod on the vent (any suggestions/mounts for this?) and have all wires hidden and running through the vent. Right now I'm using the belkin lineout/charge device which requires me to still run the ipod cable out of the center console. thanks guys.
  4. installed the kit Friday night. Not too hard...except the front, right clip of the armrest consol was impossible to slide back in, I ended up leaving it undone and just tightened the hell out of the back screws; you can't really tell. Anyone else have this problem? Anyhow, I routed the stereo cable up through my armrest cubby by drilling a small (and very discrete) hole, very low (almost touching the bottom) on the side that faces toward the shifter. 100% concealed. From here I want to get that Belkin charger that has an input so I can charge and play music w/ one cord. If you're thinking about doing this mod, it is the BEST option for an ipod/mp3 sat radio! Nothing else is as easy or sounds as good. Thanks Jazzy for the mod, easy instructions, and tech advice/assistance.
  5. Jazzy, recieved kit in the mail this afternoon. will probably install tonight or tomorrow! Great packaging. Didn't realize how small this bugger was till I held it.
  6. Jazzy, ordered my kit last night. ready to install.
