  1. Don't feel bad about the inspection cover, I left mine off back in May 2012. Never did put it on. I'm on the lap top right now (sitting on the deck enjoying this beautiful day) and don't have pictures, but I think in the photos when I replaced the oil pan back a few years, you could see it was missing. Also, most hardware stores have brass NPT fittings and barbed nipples. During lunch I found the picture.
  2. Sorry to be late to the game. Years ago I just put a bead of silicone around the seam in the right tail light. I took it off on a warm sunny day. Let the l housing bake in the hot sun so it really dried out. Then just ran a bead around the seam. Let it cure and put it back on the wagon. That worked for me.
  3. No problem, I understand about having to read all the pages... Also for us in the US, The Parker Store is where I go to find fittings, most area's have one. Any place that has Heavy Equipment will know where to get fittings and hoses too, as well as most hardware stores. It's just that a lot of people have no idea what is out there. At work, I had spent ten of thousands of $'s on fittings and hoses. Sorry to ramble, but I was once introduced to one of our new Dept Heads, when he heard my name, the first thing out of his mouth was, "oh, your the one that spends all the money". LOL
  4. Here the photos with the weathertech mudflaps.
  5. Yeah, it has a nice ride too. Smooth and quiet. We ended the lease of the 23 Nissan Rogue. I'll put the Weathertech mud flaps on in a while, we have the WT floor liners too, as does the 18' 3.6.
  6. Got her home today for the first time.
  7. Yeah, it seems some of the inspectors know what to look for. Also, having something in common helps too. I remember after having the Generac standby generator installed, when the inspector came, he reaffirmed the name of the contractor who did the wiring, who happened to be an electrician I met at work back in the early 1990's when they were building the new area I would soon be working in, I said yes, it was Steve R, he just opened the box and said good, I'm done. Yet I do recall, after renting a small backhoe to dig the 22" deep trench for the power cables, it took a long time for someone to come out and verify I did it deep enough, I seem to recall the girl in the office saying something about the town was having difficulties with hiring a reliable person at that time... that was back in 2014. I checked the dates on the photo's, I dug the trench May 24th had the conduit in June 2nd was able to have completed by Sept 13th.
  8. If your sure the engine will fire up and first start, that is the way to go. Mine started just like it does every time. If you think your going to have starting issues, pull the fuse and crank for about a minute or a little more.
  9. Starter prices are all over the place...I would not buy the cheapest. You get what you pay for. https://www.google.com/search?q=2015+Subaru+starter&rlz=1C1OKWM_enUS906US906&oq=2015+Subaru+starter&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIICAEQABgWGB4yCAgCEAAYFhgeMggIAxAAGBYYHjIICAQQABgWGB4yCAgFEAAYFhgeMggIBhAAGBYYHjIICAcQABgWGB4yCAgIEAAYFhgeMggICRAAGBYYHtIBCTg3OTJqMGoxNagCCLACAQ&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
  10. Thinking more about it, you might be able to find a 45 degree street elbow. I used to make test set-ups in the Aero-Space industry, I've been using Parker fittings for decades.
  11. Search for, The Parker Store near me. Parker is a manufacture of fittings. They will have everything you could need. Also I don't see Teflon tape on those threads. A "street elbow" in the branch side of that T will allow you to mount the OEM sensor in the upright position. The street elbow may stick out enough to give clearance with the hex flats on the OEM sensor. https://www.google.com/search?q=The+Parker+store+++street+elbow&sca_esv=0058b4b1712ac891&sxsrf=ACQVn08Yhugh4faItLE9K1Z5m4CJIE7dpg%3A1713638825697&source=hp&ei=qQ0kZtKoKK6LptQPlLaPiAw&iflsig=ANes7DEAAAAAZiQbuTIl9SBeHw7G8oJ8Hc2KjMHLpR-s&ved=0ahUKEwiSoeiLutGFAxWuhYkEHRTbA8EQ4dUDCBA&uact=5&oq=The+Parker+store+++street+elbow&gs_lp=Egdnd3Mtd2l6Ih9UaGUgUGFya2VyIHN0b3JlICAgc3RyZWV0IGVsYm93MgUQIRigATIFECEYoAEyBRAhGKABMgUQIRigATIFECEYoAFI0U9QrQlYiktwAXgAkAEAmAGvAaABkBqqAQQ4LjIzuAEDyAEA-AEBmAIgoALoG6gCCsICBxAjGCcY6gLCAhAQLhjHARgnGOoCGI4FGK8BwgINEC4Y0QMYxwEYJxjqAsICCxAuGIAEGLEDGIMBwgILEAAYgAQYsQMYgwHCAhEQLhiABBixAxjRAxiDARjHAcICDhAAGIAEGLEDGIMBGIoFwgIOEC4YgAQYsQMYgwEYigXCAgUQABiABMICBBAuGAPCAgoQIxiABBgnGIoFwgIIEC4YgAQY1ALCAgUQLhiABMICCBAAGIAEGLEDwgIIEC4YgAQYsQPCAg4QLhiABBjRAxjUAhjHAcICCxAuGIAEGMcBGK8BwgIOEC4YgAQYxwEYjgUYrwHCAhEQLhiABBixAxiDARjHARivAcICCxAuGIAEGLEDGNQCwgIXEC4YgAQYxwEYmAUYmQUYngUYjgUYrwHCAhQQLhiABBjHARiYBRiZBRieBRivAcICBhAAGBYYHsICCBAAGIAEGKIEwgIFECEYnwXCAgQQIRgVmAMLkgcENi4yNqAHiMsC&sclient=gws-wiz
  12. Pre-fitting, the GS tmic, may help verify that everything lines up with the brackets on the block.
  13. Not sure I'd add ATF to the oil. It might give too much cleaning during that important time. Oh, prefit the tmic to the turbo, before putting the engine back in the car. You can thank me later.
