  1. Jamal is awesome. if he can work on your car, the better. although... they all know subies very well. the legacy is not really... exotic plus the front end of the new wrx is basically a legacy. no worries there. as far as tuning goes jon is one of the best. although if you are closer to SFV, yimisport is good too. paul leung owns probably one of the most hooked up legacys in the country. he used to be a big poster here, but he's on nasioc now. he did the work on my turbo setup and everything's been great so far. also probably by far the best bumper cutter for LGT FMICs known to man
  2. I just got my s2k done by my excoworker's brother. he does dealership work. VERY good pricing and very good service. i had some gashes in the paint in other places and he touched them up no extra charge.
  3. how much do they go for nowadays on the forums? just wondering.
  4. yeah they look backwards to me also but one guy with a wrx had rotors that looked like that but apparently it was right because the vanes are pointing the right way..
  5. the bias should be significantly more to the rear now..IIRC
  6. City Tire in South Gate/Downey: Prices are good at 65/hr. they have a mobile tire machine that they take to events, so they know what they're doing. i know they're good for purchasing wheels (good prices),suspension work (decent prices) and tires (comparable to the cheapest online tire stores i've found.) if you go through tire rack, u have to pay shipping, then you have to bring them out to someone to install them. big name chain stores charge about 100, maybe more if you already have a tire on the wheel. so that comes out to 150 or more in addition to tire price. these guys dont charge the shipping, and the install is ~16 per tire. so you save 90 dollars right off the bat. then you save even more because most of their tires are cheaper than than tirerack's. you cant really go wrong here. the facility isnt much to look at but the customer waiting area is decent. there's a tv with cable and the obligatory table with car mags. had a chat with the owner... a nice korean dude. only negative was that it took longer than i thought it would but they had to take it to another shop to get it pressed and it was the first time they had done a suspension install like mine (roll center kit)

  8. how much you pay superman to take that pic for you?
  9. lol it was one of those pieces of info where u take for granted. thanks for the heads up
  10. they look way better on wagons than sedains lol
  11. thanks! if i didnt have a silver car i'd be happier with the color choices... probably enough to use them as daily drivers/showoff rims.
  12. aaand quick personal review Bought these for track wheels. they're light, fit brembos and take 17 inch tires. (Way cheaper in the long run). I had tarmac3s before this and the difference in handling and even just acceleration is pretty amazing. Car definitely feels lighter on its feet. feels way more responsive. Dont know what the conversion factor is but I felt as if I lost the weight of a light passenger. Only thing i regret about getting these is I cant fit a wider tire. my car definitely feels like it needs more than the 225s I have. I could be wrong as I am a noob, but if my hunch is correct I will likely trade these for enkei RPF1s for track duty. those can be had new for a little more than used BBS.
