It doesn't use a USB. The Omnifi connects to an AUX input (like the one on the back of my Alpine 9847 head unit) just like a CD changer would. Are you saying the '07 head unit won't interface with an external CD changer?

That's the part I'm confused on...i85, 8-pin connector, harness, etc. What are these things? Is there a diagram somewhere of these parts? I don't speak stereo.

Wow 20 pages of awesome info. Thank you! Only question I have is about the AUX input. Rather than an AUX input at the armest, I'm trying to hardwire my Omnifi (basically an 80GB HD full of MP3's under the passenger seat) into the back of the HU. Does the '07 HU have that capability?
