  1. Hey guys! Our team is back in St. Louis, Missouri after an incredible week in Vegas at SEMA 2021, where we unveiled some never-before-seen products! In case you missed our live stream, here's an in-depth look at some new exciting products that will be coming soon! 0:25 - SS5 LED pods 6:05 - SS3s LED pods (Backlit) 7:53 - Elite Series Fog Lamps If you were able to stop by our booth, thank you - we had a blast meeting everyone! What’s your favorite new Diode Dynamics product released at SEMA 2021? John C. Diode Dynamics
  2. We are in the process of bringing in new vehicles each week for comparison photos, installation videos, etc etc. Still searching for a 2018 Legacy to bring in so we can film videos like this with our new USA-made options: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSDsNZxzukU]How to Install 2004-2017 Subaru Impreza Headlight LEDs | Diode Dynamics - YouTube[/ame] Most of the 2017 products will carry over though! Thanks! Nick C.
  3. That's amazing if it's true. I know it's possible for some vehicles, but it would certainly be news to me on the Legacy. Don't want to steer anyone the wrong direction, but that merits a follow up. Thank you for mentioning that Nick C.
  4. Sorry about the delayed response, you are correct! We just returned from the 2017 SEMA show. (Today is actually my first day in the office since Oct. 26th) These unique items are produced in-house here in St. Louis, so occasionally we may have a production lead time on a particular item. Nick C.
  5. We reached out to see if we could make it right, and that was his response. The videos were all his idea, we didn't "Get him" or even ask him to do anything. Anyway, that's still a much different product than anything for the Legacy... not even an LED. Sorry for the OT guys.
  6. Not sure what you mean, we don't make full headlamps? If you mean the LED boards we make to go in the lamp, we have sold a few thousand sets over the past 2 years, and have experienced an extremely low failure rate, exceeding our internal quality standards. Any failure would not cause the whole lamp to stop functioning though... Are you possibly referring to the sequencer modules, for the S550 tail lamp? That is a completely different kind of product, and is not related to LEDs at all, it's power control. The Mustang has a complex fault sense system which disables power to the lamp in some circumstances when it doesn't see the exact data feedback needed for the tail lamp. Luckily for all Subaru owners, Subaru still uses simple electrical systems with physical relays, where you never run the risk of the vehicle just deciding to disable a whole lamp when it wants to! There is no circumstance in which a whole lamp would go out on your Subaru. In any case, we stand behind the function and reliability standards of all our products. Thanks!
  7. Capacitors are a good first step at preventing flickering, but you really should be running an HID relay harness. It's an added safety precaution worth adding. Nick C.
  8. If you haven't installed an HID relay harness yet, I highly recommend doing so! That should be your first step. If that doesn't prevent the flickering, you'll want to add a capacitor. The relay should do the trick though IMO! Nick C.
  9. Correct The 6th Gen Legacy is not CF18-equipped, as he stated, the flasher is built-in and cannot be replaced. Nick C.
  10. The SmartTap is compatible with all CF18-equipped vehicles Nick C.
  11. You might try contacting them and seeing if there is enough interest here for them to justify producing them Nick C.
  12. It's a very common thing to do when painting headlights. We've painted the sidemarkers black on our last two SEMA builds. There are also companies that make smoked and clear corners if you are wanting to replace the factory ambers. Klearz.com DK Moulds Both are great companies, friendly owners, and solid products! Nick C.
  13. We designed and manufacture the Legacy-specific C-Light replacements. Butyl is typically used to reseal the housings, an oven is needed to open it. I suggest reaching out to Lightwerkz for more information on any of additional upgrades or installation Thanks! Nick C.

  15. Sorry, I thought he was referring to the C-Lights or the 194 bulb in the C-lights Nick C.
