  1. Doesn't the AC dry the air, too? It's not always about the temperature, right?
  2. These tools may be a good alternative. I haven't used them yet, but I will buy some when I need to. Pictured below is just one of the useful-looking tools they make. http://www.company23.com/subaru http://www.company23.com/image/cache/data/subaru/500/500-iso-228x228.jpg
  3. I keep seeing a black Legacy 2.5i with tinted windows, an Apple logo sticker, and a big ol' "fart can" muffler. It's apparently owned by somebody who works in the Mall of America. I think it has Indiana plates. I've also regularly seen a black Legacy GT with chrome wheels and no spoiler parked at a home off of Flagstaff in the Rosemount/Lakeville/Apple Valley area.
  4. I came across this vendor today from someone mentioning it in a post elsewhere. They have some tools that look like they would be useful for timing stuff. I would strongly suggest against ever vice-gripping cam sprockets. http://www.company23.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=61_60
  5. I've seen this referenced in this thread, but not linked to. Sorry if the link has already been posted.
  6. Maybe this is just in the 5EAT, but isn't there an AWD fuse you're supposed to pull when you put on the spare tire (switching the vehicle to FWD only)? If this is true for the 5MT, I think it would be a good temporary solution. Maybe I'm thinking of a different vehicle though.
