wow. last post was November 6!!!
Thanks for your input, but I didn't have time to mess with it, so just rode it out with the dealer. They have been more than honorable about the whole thing.
So, I let them have their way with it, they replaced a few more transmission controllers (both blew), shortly after I returned it on the 6th, they stated I would not be charged any more money, and the loner is free. Still driving one now.
After 2 months plus they found a junction under the rear speaker shelf for the taillight wiring harness had some corrosion. Reviewing the schematics it appears the ground for the taillights is similar or connected to the ground for the wheel sensors.
Tech is driving it home tonight and back as a test for daily driving to confirm.
I'm planning on asking to see the junction, see how bad the corrosion is...
Curious if you guys think I should keep it or sell it. corroded wire harness which shouldn't be exposed to moisture is a little odd and concerning.
I'm pretty much done with it either way, by fall I will by a model 3. Any vehicle I use will be doing the A to B circuit 5 times a week, technically, I don't even need the range of the standard range model 3.
