  1. I got the case off after about an hour. I actually put the four bolts back in the bottom and tightened gently, releasing pressure on the top pin. The steel bracket has a bolt/stud that attaches to the shifter, had to beat on that. Damn thing popped right off. One of the two roller bearings(smaller one) was toast but replaced all four. 12 ton harbor freight press worked great. Rear seal was a pain to remove.
  2. In the process of replacing my transfer gear bearings. Got the bottom of the case split just enough for all the oil to drain. Feel like I'm kinda stuck. The top of the case is stuck pretty good. I'm afraid to keep chiseling the bottom. I'm hammering a little on the bracket some too but just wont budge any more. Man, what to do? Maybe I need to get a second set of hands to pull down on the case/snout while I hammer. My output shaft has a huge amount of play, hope the gears aren't thrashed.
  3. Glad I stumbled on this thread. Funny, the first time I've ever heard of a clutch damper was just the other day. Watching a video of this guys 20B RX7. He showed where he actually added a damper in the clutch line b/c rough engagement with his beast clutch.
  4. Ordered new sensor, leak free now. A/F learning actually went up after driving a bit wtf?!? A is at 15 now, C is about a 8.
  5. Turns out its a camshaft sensor. I went ahead and pulled it out and it has an oring to seal. I guess im buying a $100 oring now.
  6. Maybe somebody can help me out here. I just found a vaccum leak coming from a sensor im not familiar with. Sensor is black and bolted to the top rear passenger head, under the turbo kinda. What is this sensor and how does it seal? Bubbles like crazy with soap/pressure test.
  7. I put about 20k on mine with a 16g. Once those brackets are on those endtanks aren't going anywhere
  8. Installed an Avo tmic a few weeks ago. Im still buying the grimmspeed! The fittment is gonna be so good I will remove and reinstall it on weekends just for fun
  9. Hello from Jacksonville everyone. Anybody know a good shop for a timing belt job? Thinking I might just go to the dealer.
