  1. Well, well, well... and here I was thinking that this thread had died from COVID, right after KRB’s passing. Glad to see both, F1 and this thread raised from the dead.
  2. Indeed. At least KRB will have someone to banter with now.
  3. Anybody know how Mike is doing? Haven’t seen him post for a while now...
  4. Williams sucking wind during practice. Both cars placed last. Kubica says he has no one to race against... sad to see a great team die on the vine. Who will buy them and turn them into a performer? She seems clueless despite growing up in this business.
  5. I’m concerned. Hope you are doing ok, KRB!
  6. And this one, too. Never knew much about this guy (before my time). Thx for bringing this subject up, KRB. https://www.motorsportmagazine.com/archive/article/december-1996/10/unlucky-star
  7. Great article on this subject written after Amon’s untimely death: https://www.motorsportmagazine.com/opinion/f1/remembering-chris-amon
  8. Let me know what you decide to do. If I am stateside, I may go to one of those as well. It would be cool to meet either in Montreal or in Texas, as I have not yet been.
  9. I am so excited about Robert’s comeback, that I am even considering getting cable or satellite TV for next season!!!
  10. Yep, Polish petroleum giant, Oren, will foot the budget gap at Williams to the tune of at least $10,000,000. Euck yeah!!! I am one happy motherfather!
  11. Sorry to hear, KRB. Didn't know you recently got divorced. How is that new life treating you? But glad to hear you are back at work - it clearly ain't resulted in you posting on here any less.
  12. My 2018 Armada Platinum has the camera rear view mirror. The focus change from road ahead to screen in the mirror takes time to get used to, but it isn’t an issue for me anymore. Much clearer, wider, and fully unobstructed view. The camera is behind rear hatch glass at the top and is cleaned by the rear wiper blade. It is adjustable up and down, and can be zoomed in and out, thru the onscreen menu and there is no noticeable delay to how it portrays what is behind you. Love it... especially when the back of the truck is full of cargo or people. F1 drivers are young and tech savvy. They should switch to cameras that offer better side and rear view without blind spots.
  13. Lettuce has come a long way from his Renault days of trying to beat Maldonado in numbers of crashes per season
  14. Netflix may still have a good documentary on him and his career. A rider that had a 6th sense and was one with the bike.
