  1. ...sorry to hear about the car man, but walking away from the accident is what really matters. I hope your new Legacy treats you well. I know the support may not really be there just yet, but the 2.4L turbo is a pretty solid engine, I really enjoy it in our Ascent.
  2. ...so I've been meaning to update this one for a while. I've actually had my GT back on the road for about 2.5-months now, I also went ahead and updated my build list. The key take aways are a new IAG Stage II short block and an upgraded turbo, fueling, and cams. The car drives better than it ever did and after re-tuning puts down 301hp and 336lb-ft, it really makes for a more entertaining daily driver. Other than the car imo looking terrible from some hail damage, DIP hides it well, the car is done until my oldest son gets to take over the reins in a few years.
  3. ...being almost a year since my LGT, ummm broke, I finally picked up something else a few weeks ago. I still have my LGT though, once it's rebuilt, my oldest son will get to drive it and eventually take it to college.
  4. ...I'm finally getting my rebuild project started and purchased another VF54 Friday, I'll be shipping this one out to be upgraded.
  5. ...thanks for the heads up @JJBerk, if this happens during the summer my LGT should be back on the road by then lol.
  6. Yeah, just saw that this morning and sent you a reply. Sorry for the delay.
  7. ...a quick update, it looks like the headlights are available again.
  8. Hey there, being local really works, I used to live Gainesville. Someone has already asked about the headlights but if he decides to pass you're next up. Everything else is up grabs, suspension and the license plate mount. Plus you wouldn't have to pay shipping. Thanks, Glenn
  9. ...108,758-miles and was I driving it maybe once every two weeks (it wasn't my daily) when it happened.
  10. ...based off of the impression vids, it seems that Nissan may have gotten this right. Starting at $40k and going to $50k doesn't seem unreasonable for what the car offers.
  11. Update: So I still have these parts in my garage and I have a new car coming in and I need these parts gone. I've slashed the prices by a quite bit, buyer pays shipping: OEM Legacy headlights (swapped for the special appearance lights in 2014) - $100 (sold) Stock suspension (springs and shocks) - $50 (pending) LGT carpeted mats (new and never used, my car came w/the all season mats installed) - $40 (sold) Intercooler (w/charge pipe and inlet hoses) - $50 OEM Shifter - $25 OEM Rear sway bar and end links (in the Whiteline box) - $25 OEM Steering wheel - $25 Brake calipers (front and rear w/stock lines and pads)- $100 (sold) Grimmspeed license plate mount - $25 ...if anyone needs better pics or has any questions just let me know in thread or via pm, thanks.
  12. ...I really wanted a GS-F but too many for sale where people were playing games so that's made we wait for an IS500. The embargo on new Z reviews lifts tomorrow so there will be a bunch of vids about it on YouTube soon.
  13. ...with my Legacy GT out of commission for a while I guess it's actually time to find my next ride. I'm looking for more power and refinement this time round, plus some improved reliability. I'm aiming for an IS500 but production is paused for an undetermined amount of time, which sucks but I guess it gives more time to work on my rebuild.
  14. ...so a little over a month ago my Legacy GT suffered a rod bearing failure. To say that sucked would be an understatement, initially thought that I would be selling the car. However, after exploring my options (and underwhelming offers) I've decided to hold on to it and move forward w/a rebuild. I won't be going crazy so the plan is to overbuild it, keep power about the same then hand it over to my oldest son. ...on deck for the rebuild are the usual EJ stuff, some small quality of life mods, and maybe some external updates. IAG Stage 2 short block OEM oil pump, cooler and etc STI exhaust cams IAG Air Oil Separator Whiteline 24mm FSB Whiteline Front Roll Center/Bump Steer Perrin Steering Damper Ported, polished, and cerakoted VF54 (I needed new seals anyway) STI Sideskirts 2013 Front end refresh (possibly)
