  1. How are the lights holding up? Can you post some pics of your wiring set up, I am trying to do the same thing as you?
  2. And while you are at it, you should check out Triad Subaru on Facebook. Tons of subaru owners, mostly wrx and stis though, that get together frequently. We are actually going to the tail of the dragon at the end of April.
  3. I joined a facebook group called triad subaru. We are always looking for new members in the NC/SC/Va area. It's mostly made up of subaru owners but there are a few other makes on there as well. Feel free to join in if you like. We go to car shows and have cookouts together. Earlier this month we even took a trip to VIR and did some laps. We also sell and trade parts, too. At the moment there are only a handful of legacies on there and I'd love to see our numbers increase to keep up with all the WRXs and STis. The link is https://www.facebook.com/groups/triadsubaru/
  4. I just came across this. Great write up. You say go kart fuel line works perfectly, but I was wondering if you knew what size that is? I found some clear line on a siphon pump from autozone. I was hoping that would work but I haven't tried it yet.
  5. Nice. I'm the same way, however the only time I ever heard it was when I turned the car off and pulled the key out. Even then it was enough to drive me insane.
  6. I did this the other day, before finding this write up. I did exactly the same thing though. Just added a little bit of grease to the metal finger contacts. It was pita getting it back together and getting the arms in the right place. And 2 hours of my time is a much better price than $90 from the dealer.
  7. I shot this earlier today after taking the entire dash apart. I've been having this problem for a few years now and I've just been dealing with it. Its gotten so bad I can't stand it any more. I don't know about the linkage, but there seems to only be 2 screws holding it in place. I haven't been to the dealer yet to see about a price for the motor. I'll get back to you whenever I get around to that.
  8. +1 for the great idea. I've started hearing that whine when I turn the wheel now too, so I guess its time for this.
  9. I just finished doing this. 6 years later and its still a great mod. Thanks
  10. saw two lgts today. a silver one on wendover, and a red one on dolly madison. I'm just trying to see if any local owners are on the forums.
  11. hey, i said greensboro over a year ago and its still not on there, don't hold your breath, haha
  12. I have it on one side, and i like it that way. Its just because i can't get the other side unbolted. But either way, i like it. I call it stage .5
  13. Good ol' Greensboro here. I'm up for a meet
