  1. You profile pic is priceless
  2. I update it less frequently because people tend to post their data, then leave the forum forever. Doesn't help that I haven't been a regular here either. I'll update the master list this weekend since you brought it up
  3. Last weekend, 2008 BSM 2.5i slammed with nice wheels and HID's in Berlin on 15. You were about to turn SB from an offstreet. I would know the username if I saw it again
  4. Just got my new device and buttons in. Wired up the map button to power and we're ready to go. Just need to do some mounting. No line interference as is when it's sitting benchtop, but we'll see what happens when it gets inside the dash. I opted to go with something besides the Nexus 7. It bothered me so much that the screen size window in the nav bezel was 6.51352324325463... inches so I went with a cheap chinese knock off. 6" screen and enough bezel to fill in the rest of the gap. At $150, I figured at worst I would have a new e-reader I can pass off to a family member when I got tired of it. The processing power is leaving something to be desired, but it still does GPS, bluetooth and audio just fine. Tethering it to my phone is all I need. Aside from the damn time to show up in the gauge cluster Pics later.
  5. Instead of reviving a 7 year old zombie thread, I figured I'd ask here. I'm looking for a way to get the time to show in the gauge cluster, like it does by default in cars with the nav option. My limited never had nav, and a similar question was asked here. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/my08-gt-spec-b-clock-dash-mfd-74220.html I thought it would be somewhere in the pinout for when Nav was installed.
  6. Got a new nav bezel and "device". CG, I think I'm going to try your power wiring trick. As long as they accessible it should be a piece of cake.
  7. I removed the inner most fin on each side. You don't have to cut them up, they have plastic pins.
  8. I've got a data plan, but I also sold my soul to vzw when I signed on for the family share thing. $4 more per month after company discount.
  9. Negative. Haven't had the time nor patience to touch my setup in the last many moons. Still a Samsung OG galaxy tab with GB.
  10. I use AutomateIT Pro and have no problem killing apps. It's also set to screen off timeout to 5-seconds if not in a charging state.
  11. If you need any help with formatting or aggregating data let me know if I can help. Us 5EAT'ers are in this together.
  12. Last night at J. Timothy's in Plainville, grey 08-09 spec b. Visible mods include hella horns, grillecraft grille, debadged trunk (except for Spec B. badge). Should be descriptive enough.
  13. How's the FAQ for this coming along? I'd love to read a PDF of this condensed into one document. inb4toolazytoread7pages
