  1. It would be nice if I had the time. My son goes to a magnet high school 45 minutes away- no bus, so every day I don't have a car for him equals me driving to and from.
  2. Thanks guys, I think everyone was missing the point, this was a vehicle I never planned on keeping, it was to get two kids through high school driving. I've searched pretty far and the used cars that come in around the same price as the lease payments aren't that great and then I'm stuck trying to sell something that wasn't that great 3 years earlier. I also have to worry about if it breaks down while I'm on a business trip.
  3. Just the base system, but according to Idata's site it'll work for the HK system as well. The wire harness is the same, ours just had a bunch of connections we didn't use.
  4. Selling these since the Legacy was totaled. Trying here first because it makes more sense to sell as a complete package vs. splitting all apart. Everything except the JDM bezel is new as of June when we gave this to my son as a B-Day present. The bezel has been in the car since about 2012. There is very minor wear on the front edge. So you're getting everything you need to drop it into a Legacy. The connections are soldered and heat shrunk. $400 for everything plus shipping/Paypal.
  5. 2019 Sport Sedan- feel like it's fate. Found it last night and it's the last year the Sport Sedan comes in a stick. Doesn't hurt that because it's a 2019 and a stick that no one wants, got a great deal on it which lowered the lease payments even more. So strange that the 2020 Sedan is CVT only, but the hatch can be had in stick.
  6. So any advice on a lease? So much to read. Long story short, we normally buy and keep vehicles until they die. That was the plan with the 2011 Legacy until a deer totaled that plan. The Legacy only needed to last 3 more years until daughter went to college. So instead of buying a beater, for about the same money we're leasing a Impreza for 36 months /10K. Never leased, so trying to learn fast since I found a 2019 stick, and put a deposit down to hold it.
  7. I have to stay somewhat close because its a lease. Still reading up on leases to learn as much as possible before I have to finalize this.
  8. Went through the numbers and at this point doesn't make sense. It would still be a 2011, and we were only keeping until daughter goes to college. After looking at the used market for a manual around here, we decide to do a 3 year lease on an Impreza Sport 5 door manual. The payment come out roughly the same as the payout on the Legacy. It's under warranty until we're done with it.
  9. FYI- to update everyone it's totaled. Sucks after all the money we recently put in.
  10. Yea, Impreza manual Sport hatchback. So far searched 20 something dealers and only found 2, so I'd like to broaden the search without taking hours. Our Legacy was the same way, none in our area since it's a combo most people don't want. I'd like to work through the dealer that has them, I find most times I can get a better deal. When you ask for a dealer transfer, then they know you want the car and it seems like they won't work as hard to get your money.
  11. Anyone know a forum member that is a salesperson? Back when we bought the Legacy, there was a guy that helped us find it. He could do a broad search instead of me going dealer by dealer. He found us 2 of we were looking for that were 3 and 4 hours away. That would have taken forever on Subaru's site.
  12. I think you misunderstood, for blue book value of ours, all I'm finding are vehicles that still need t-belts done and ? history as far as head gaskets. Since all that has been done recently to ours, it sucks because we'd be out a ton if it's totaled.
