RalliTEK Heavy Duty Springs are designed to help your Outback maintain proper ground clearance, suspension alignment, and headlight aim as you carry loads or passengers. RalliTEK Heavy Duty Springs for Legacy Outback are also designed for proper ride height and good ride quality when your car is not loaded.

Since the spring rate is increased to compensate for loads, we do not use larger aftermarket rear sway bars alone with our RalliTEK Heavy Duty Rear Springs. The increased spring rate has a similar effect on handling like a heavy duty rear sway bar. Excessive oversteer can result. Use our RalliTEK Front/Rear sway bar kit.

i have an 05 obxt with the rallitek f/r sway bar kit. ive been looking closely at these HD springs. i use my car for work and carry a full load with the back seats down everyday. i can feel the car sagging. hows the ride with these (full load and no load) and how will my ride be with the sway bar kit?

well i ordered them today so it looks like i will be the first one on this forum to give some feedback on them when i get them installed

where are the front springs?? any drop on these?

sschmelcke 02-28-2009 07:20 AM

there is no front and no drop. only rear springs. they are basically for towing or carrying heavy loads in the back. i usually have around 5-600 pounds of parts in the back everyday for work in my car which is why i bought them. they should be in by monday

eb50 02-28-2009 01:39 PM

make some fronts and give it a 1in drop!

sschmelcke 02-28-2009 01:47 PM

i wouldnt mind some stiffer front springs to go with the rear. i like the height of the outback and its come in useful a few times for me. although i have to admit when i had coilovers with honda the handling was amazing.

do u think the springs are to blame for the blown strut?

sschmelcke 03-12-2009 08:28 PM

My car has 85k miles so who knows. could have been an install error on our part. though the drivers side is doing ok.

Any plan for the HD springs for LGT wagon?

OhBe1 03-14-2009 05:45 AM

Soooooo....
How about shocks for the OB?

sschmelcke 03-14-2009 08:52 AM

i dont think the shocks actually do much anymore with these springs in there...lol i mean my strut was blown and the car still rode stock. just a squeaking noise.

sschmelcke 03-28-2009 09:47 AM

yippie...left side strut is now blown. if you buy this springs, do yourself a favor and get new struts at the same time.
