avo pod install

did any one have problems with the avo bg pod sticking to the a pillar? i had a shop install this last night and it seems to work great just doesnt want to stick. is it possible that the lines are not comin out in the right spot or something? can seem to find any other reason...

Oh i forgot to mention it has been raining off and on for like days here in PA... sucks...
Not sure if the humidity is affecting it.

Mine tends to get loose on hot days. The doubleface tape I use must suck...

Did you just put the tape on top of the black crap? AVO really dropped the ball on this "mounting system".

What I ended up doing, was scrape that crap off .. I built a bottom for the gauge pod and double sticky taped it to the dash.

Scraped the black goo off and installed the moulding tape....

I put a thin line of black silicone adhesive at the base of mine, where it meets the dash.
