Who has the most miles on their LGT, and how are they holding up? - Vol-1(CLOSED)
 

Just wanted to see if anyone has broke 50-70k and if the cars are holding up?

Not that much, but I have over 22k on mine. Had it a year now. Still runs like new.:)

44,000 miles, still going strong, Stg 2 for 4 months and still original clutch.

almost 16,500 does that count 05lgt limited

just over 40K miles. 20K miles at Stage 2, 10K miles at Stage 3

engine was just checked & passed compression & leak down.

11k miles within a 3.2 month period

44k and running better now than when new. God I love this car!!!

18K miles and rattles everywhere. I can't wait to see how many rattles I'll have at 100K miles.

I think I solved the headlight burning out problem
 

I was just thinking the other day and it came to me. Where I live there are no potholes or very few. After reading all the posts on headlights burning out I have concluded it may be from the car getting jarred from pothole impacts.It may be the answer that your all looking for. This may also account for all the rattles people have as well.:munch::munch::munch:

Well I think it depends on the build of the car cause I'm lowered with 44k on it and I have no rattles. The only rattles I had were the A/C lines fixed with zip ties and the ash try which I fixed with those velcro stickies.:icon_bigg

Less than 7 months old with 24,500 miles. No problems yet.

10 months..7K miles.....everything is splended..stg II for 4K

I live where there are alot of potholes, and have never blown a bulb. The better, and more believable theory on headlights blowing prematurely is because of the DRLs. They run the bulb at 50% and the bulbs are designed to run at 100% so they get hot and function properly.

I find that theory easier to believe since I personally have never blown a bulb, and I unplugged my DRLs a week into owning my car.


The rattles are due mainly to the fact they made the frame stiffer in this car and ignored what that can do to everything that attaches to the frame, body, interior etc.

I think ShaggyGT claimed 70,000 miles or so (but he's also blown a motor in the process with a lot of power adding/modding with various turbos).

I am currently at 42,000 miles with about 1,000 of it is on the track and about 200 worth on autox events.. not sure if that's an engine beating or tire/brakes beating
