Head gaskets were replaced right before I bought it. New piston rings, replaced valve seals, lapped valves. Work was performed by the seller who is a dealer tech and Subie enthusiast. He previously had a nice swapped 2.5 RS coupe.
I’ve changed the oil every ~3750 with Rotella T6. Car does not lose oil in between changes.
I think you’ll be hard pressed to find a high mileage Legacy in such clean, close-to-stock condition. I'm available to show the car on week nights and weekends. I sold my Miata and am selling the Legacy to get into a slightly newer DD with less miles.
Car has had the following service in my possession:
130,500 miles - 60k mile service at IAG Performance. Spark plugs, tranny/diff/power steering/brake fluid. They also replaced the front left axle due to torn CV boot
134,864 - Brake line corrosion recall was performed by Valley Motors Subaru. No corrosion found, so just got the rust inhibitor spray.
135,xxx miles? - IAG Performance. New tires - Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3. Repaired seized rear toe adjustment.
139,750 - IAG Performance. Power steering pump replaced with Cardone (remanufactured) pump, new accessory belts. New PS fluid. WRX wheels installed at this time.
143,595 - Agile Auto. Perrin silicone turbo inlet. OEM was tearing at the clamp, caused a cylinder 3 misfire.
143,770 - New radiator. Koyo same-as-OEM replacement.
144,xxx - New cylinder 2 coilpack.
Car also has the following mods/options:
Accessport V2 with Stage 1 Brentuning e-tune. This is currently included in the vehicle’s price. I can unmarry and sell the car on the stock tune if desired.
Kartboy short shifter
Jazzy mod aux-in. Pro-kit with ground loop isolator.
OEM underseat subwoofer.
DW65c fuel pump. When I started my e-tune, there was knock at high RPM. Based on the mileage, Bren recommended cleaning the MAF (which I had done prior to starting the tune) and/or a new fuel pump. Went with the DW65c for upgrade potential down the road.
Perrin silicone turbo inlet - OEM was tearing
Hawkeye (06-07) WRX Wheels. At ~135k miles when I got new tires and alignment, IAG found 3 of the 4 original 5-spoke Legacy wheels to be out of round, so I upgraded to these WRX wheels.
Subaru all-weather floormats, plus carpeted floor mats
OEM trunk side-cargo nets
Door ding on passenger side rear door
Scratch marks on passenger side rear door/quarter panel
Poorly touched-up paint chip on front bumper
Fog light surrounds have peeling clear coat
Rock chips on hood, nothing unusual for the mileage though
Left rear door panel looks like something tried to take a bite
Trunk mat worn through
Trunk liner on passenger side is cracked
