How to remove rear bumper?

Hi!

I need to remove my rear bumper. I made some researchs here but there is no docs about it. I've found the following post:

http://legacygt.com/forums/showthrea...ht=rear+bumper

However, the file is not available in mediafire anymore.

In http://techinfo.subaru.com I can find many docs, but it's necessary a subscription payment. In Service Manual Full, there is a file called g2470bev22_980.pdf with instructions for rear bumper removal, but I must pay a subscription to download this file.

Is there some doc or pdf with full instructions? I have a LGT 2011.

Thanks
Daniel

Seems like this has been covered, but without going on Vacation, it's just a bunch of pop-its in the wheel well and under the car... once those are all removed, it will just pull out (clipped in place with overlapping metal/plastic)... surprisingly easy.

The reason for removing rear bumper is the hidden hitch installation. The instructions demands drilling an access hole and I don't want to do that! If I remove rear bumper, I can install the hitch with no drilling. It will take more time, but I think this is the right thing to be done.

Only takes about 10 minutes, tops, to remove the rear bumper... take out the push pop-its, and pull it off (carefully)... not a hard or time consuming job at all...

Are you sure about that? The instruction for rear bumper removal demands a rear combination light removal that demands a trunk room trim removal.

Is that possible to do that in 10 minutes? Are you able to remove the rear bumper without other demands?

Thanks for your help!

I think I may be mistaken/misinterpreting... I was talking about the bumper cover (the large bit of painted plastic covering the bumper), not the structural bumper/beams beneath it... Sorry for the confusion!
