Having sold my 05 LGT wagon last year to a fellow forum member and moving to a ram 1500 truck (for the shop), i really miss it, to the point that today, i went and traded the truck in for:

this was my old LGT :)

So we are somewhat twins then lol. I'm still upset with you for refusing to move back to NJ, jk. I'm sure you are going to work your magic audio skills on this as you've done on so many vehicles already. I just purchased an Illusion Audio C12 based upon your high regards for how well it performs. I'm going to acquire their comp set also but not to install into my Legacy. These will be going into my VW along with Gladen amps, that is unless I pony up the cash for two more Mosconi amps. If I do the Mosconi, it will be the Zero models that I like so much. Hope to see your build as it progresses hint hint HINT lol.

we will see if i ever have time to do something to this one...been sooo busy with the shop hehe. if i do something it will be pretty darn simple :)

how modded is your car performance/cosmetic wise? i do need a guru to guide me on what i should purchase for this one as it seems quite different than my previous LGT, and with the shop i simply dont have the time to read the foruns like i used to :)

Welcome back and nice car!!! I'm gonna guess you got that up in Fairfield from a Mazda dealership and it has about 29k miles on it.

16psibrick 06-26-2013 10:05 AM

yessir, 24k miles actually, from fairfield kia. the car is really good shape, better than the other two i looked at by miles :)

GTEASER 06-26-2013 10:12 AM

Ah yes, 24k and a Kia dealer. Another Bay Area forum member was looking for a 5th Gen GT recently and I found that one for him. I thought it looked really clean, no tint and I suspected no mods. Glad to hear that it was. We are getting quite a 5th Gen contingent here in NorCal. Glad to see another 5th Gen LGT owner from the Bay Area on here!!!

You'll want to start with a Whiteline 22mm Adjustable RSB for your first mod. Well worth the money as it improves the handling greatly.

Do they make the white GT's with black interiors? My favorite outside color, but with a dog I would make a mess of the interior! I actually had a '05 GT in white with the beige interior and it was a chore to keep clean.

GTEASER 06-26-2013 10:29 AM

Mine is SWP with a black interior. I think all the 2011-2012 LGTs are black interior regardless of exterior color, and 2010 was either black or taupe (ivory) interior which was dependant on Premium or Limited.

being its a shop demo car, prolly hit up clear bra, tint wheels, grille, lower it, ap and basic stage 2

my previous gen4 LGT wagon was stage 3 plus for 60k miles so i am hoping to duplicate it :)

Shop demo car eh? Looking forward to the mods!!! Don't forget the headlight black-out.

Hey Man!!! Take it easy. We're all in the same boat now and have to do it ourselves. I want mine done so bad but I just haven't grown the kajones yet.

JLGT 06-26-2013 11:47 AM

Just get the 2013's and the only blacking out you will have to do is the ambers.
