Just finished my etune with Bren at Brentuning. After installing an Invidia catted down pipe, I had to decide my next direction. I thought about dyno tuning or a road tune, but figured I would wait until fuel supply and top mount are installed to get the most out of it. I decided to give my business to Bren for an etune and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Super professional and fast turnaround times with revisions and emails. When I sent my funds in, Bren was on the beach in Cali writing my base map and within an hr I was downloading. After a small hiccup in throttle position with cobbs new firmware update, he had my RRP back on track and dialed in with only two revisions. Most have stated that going from stock to stage 1 is more noticeable, but I have to disagree in my situation. I was etuned stage 1 from another vendor with stock exhaust since I feared the wife's fury of me modding this one (RIP bugeye lol). I was a little upset that boost only maxed at 15.5psi, although it did have a much smoother power curve than the 16.9 that the OTS map produced. As some may have read, I installed catback against wifes ORDERS which brought a mess of cuss words and other words I have never heard before lol! I then figured f... it, it's downpipe time since stage 1 is just not good enough. Ok I'm rambling, now to the point. Stage ll maxing out at 19-19.3lbs is just amazing. My wrx put out 365 tq and 376 hp on a Mustang dyno, but I feel out of the whole my LGT is quicker. Top end WRX FTW all day. Anyway, props to Bren for bringing a bigger smile to my face with better throttle response, smoother power band and of course, the mind blowing torque that it now produces. Time to save for a clutch now and so on and so forth.......
