Anyone using WL Com-C front mounts?

Seems quite new...

http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_..._number=KCA409

I watching these for a while, the KCA335 for the GC/GD chassis. I waited I think two years for these to become available for my GH8, but then WL had some problems with the 335 and suspended sales for a while. In the meantime I picked up some GRB hardened top mounts. Now these are available.
With the JDM GRF springs I use I'm just a little lower than stock and can only get a maximum of -1.0* camber. I never have liked the aftermarket camber bolt solutions out there.

In for any feedback as well. I just saw these two days ago when looking up another WL part on their website. I like the additional camber and caster adjustments, and have been considering going with Koni's and new tophats to replace my tired Bilsteins and spec.B tophats.

interesting

I've had them for a couple years now. No problems.

We've sold several sets and 2 guys in our shop use them on their own cars. Good stuff!

You mean the KCA335 on an Impreza or Forester? This Legacy-fitment part is quite new.

jamal 03-20-2013 10:00 PM

Yes, KCA335 on my Legacy. They've made some changes to it- the stiffness of the rubber, how it's bonded, and higher quality bearings, so the new one for the 05+ Legacy and 08+ Impreza carry all that stuff over and should not have any problems.

The part number for these is KCA409 btw, and none of the distributors I use even have any yet.

Just ordered a set of these from Mike. I will install them and get the car aligned around mid April.

I also just ordered a pair from Mike. I'm installing Konis with Rallitek springs in my wagon this month. I'll post up a review once everything is settled and aligned.

I am ordering soon and will be doing a write up and track day with them with my Bilstein/Swift setup.

These will work with the inverted Bilsteins? That would surprise me. I thought these were for the KYB style front struts.

How do these compare to spec.B top hats, performance-wise? The spec.B bearing would be larger, yes? How must difference does that make?

I used spec.B top hats when I installed my Konis, but I'm considering switching to these to eliminate the ride height increase from the extra washer. Would I be spending money on a downgrade?

These are a bit stiffer than the SpecB units and also give you more camber so that's a good thing if your car is lowered or you do performance/track driving.

I wonder how much more comfortable these would be than my GTworx camber plates? Meh.

I really like the additional caster the GTworx plates provide and these look to add around the same amount, and a little more camber too.

They will be significantly more comfortable since they aren't a solid piece of metal like the camber plates are. :) Let us know if we can send you a set ;)
