Anyone in 757 or just in va period with a 16g?

Just looking to see if maybe I can bribe someone with lunch and or a 6 pack to meet up with so I can get an impression of a 16g powered car before I take the plunge and put up the $. Never ridden in a legacy with an turbo upgrade and trying to decide

My husband had a 16G in his old '04 WRX......it was ok. He said if he did it all over again he would have gotten an 18G. I've got a vf52 in mine.....I'm perfectly happy with it and wouldn't trade it for anything (except something huge)

And I never see anyone while I'm out.....I thought there were no other Legacy's nearby  you should come out to a meet sometime. There is one tonight in Hampton at Tokyo Steakhouse in Coliseum at 6.

BarManBean 03-21-2013 11:58 AM

From most accounts, the VF52 should feel very similar to a 16g...

Va_lgt 03-21-2013 05:02 PM

Barmanbean-That's what I've heard, just not sure if it will be enought.....

Subiechic- I've seen you once In passing but there are about 4-5 local modified lgts. See the problem and why I have never met up with anyone is I work 3pm-12 :-(

Cody480 03-21-2013 06:18 PM

I'm in HR near ft eustis. Have the bnr 16 i am currently getting tuned, but do you go to any of the 'meets' that go on around the area because i will soon be back to them after final revisions done.

SubieChik 03-21-2013 06:33 PM

Every one is coming out of the woodwork! I've been here almost 7 years and rarely ever see modified Legacy's.....if I do it's once but never again. More should come out.....I'm used to being the only one.

We had a meet tonight but the next one is Saturday....actually it is every Saturday. This is where you will find any and all meet info:

VB meets http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2393486

Peninsula meets http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2402083
(Although that thread says it will not be updated.....just always look at the last post....we keep it active.....I'll probably start a new one soon.

Any other spur of the moment or off day meets an be found in the MAIC forum on nasioc.

Should be nice Saturday maybe Ill see y'all there :)

I'd take that offer, but the LGT won't be there until late June. The BNR 16g that I have spools about as quickly as the VF40, but maintains the boost throughout the higher range.

Are you MT or AT?

Cody480 03-23-2013 06:16 AM

I have m/t

Va_lgt 03-23-2013 07:58 AM

M/t too, I think that I'll end up going 16g from what everyone has said. Seems to be super reliable on a good tune and the right amount of power for the car.
Ill deffinately make it to a sat meet! Just not this one cause ill be working on the lgt all day today probably

Do you plan on doing the work yourself/have a shop work it?

Va_lgt 03-23-2013 02:19 PM

I do it all myself, I don't think my car has ever seen the inside of a shop except for alignment and inspection lol

mr.hicksta 03-23-2013 02:31 PM
