The Cheap Coilover Thread, Pros & Cons...

Okay, so the last thread went completely sideways, as in eat a sandwich roll over and die. I'd like to create this thread to show people (especially new people) what's out there for suspension choices and what they can expect out of it. Please don't hesitate to post pics and your thoughts. I had to learn the hard way, that doesn't mean that everyone else has to.
Okay here are some cheapies...

There's an entire sub forum dedicated to suspension, and the coil over debate has been rehashed to death, (even before you joined). Useless thread is... useless. If you feel this topic is a service to the community - at least put it in the proper forum.

These are DGR's, I've never used them but I have a few friends that have and they seem fine for lowering your car and/or driving around off the track. $899

I just copied and pasted this from Infamous Tuning's detailed description link on their page... but here you go:)

The Comfort Sports are made with a fully threaded shock body to allow for full-length adjustments in 1mm increments. 16 way adjustment puts you in control of dampening force. Add the new EDFC controller for in-car dampening force control. The Comfort Sports include a specially designed reinforced rubber mount for excellent handling and a quiet ride. Picture may vary from actual product.

Basics are valved for street use and are an affordable, balanced solution to purchasing shocks and springs or sleeve-type coilovers. Tein Basics feature a steel twin-tube design, with adjustable spring perches and utilize the OEM suspension mounts. Because the Tein Basic coilovers are a complete setup, they offer increased stroke over a stock-type setup or spring and shock package, which increases shock life and prevents the 'bottoming out' associated with traditional lowering springs. This kit is also completely rebuildable, making it a suitable long-term solution for most styles of performance street driving.
