Where to source new ej257 shortblock?

In need of a new shortblock. I've been looking around a bit and seen them for around $1800 (FlatIron) but wondered if you guys knew a good spot to source one. I plan on checking with the stealership though I assume the worst there...

Click on the Vendor Link up top on the blue line.

Home-Vendors-Rules, etc

Find the OEM dealers there, 25% off.

My Local Parts Guy gives me 25% off so my EJ257 came from them.

Thanks! I'll get a quote from them. :)

I know you had another thread.

Did you see my thread about my ej257 ? "Got some new stuff for engine R&R" It was on the front page here yesterday. lots of good info there.

Where do you live ?

I hadn't but I'll look through it. :)

Located in Kalamazoo, MI.

Hey, I'm in Kalamazoo too. Perhaps we should touch base with each other some time. I'm in need of a shortblock as well and I just priced one at Maple Hill Subaru the other day. I don't know if you work in the repair industry or not but I do and their price for me was $1845 plus tax.
Side note, do you know anything about Strictly Import Motorsports on Stadium drive or Graveyard Motorsports on North Burdick? I need a set of heads and bumped into those two local leads.
