Best place for window tint?
The title says it all, any suggestions for the best place to get my current tint removed and new tint thrown on? Person who had the car before did a terrible job, the back window is bubbling and the front pass window has the tint peeling up from the bottom, so time to get it replaced. I am in the Beaverton, Or area, so prefer to not travel further than Portland.
Thanks, Brandon |
^ I highly recommend Highline Customs. They are located in Beaverton (Murray & 26 near the Home Depot).
http://www.highlinecustoms.com/ I've had several cars done through them and they always do a great job  |
Tommy's tint.
Kingpin audio in wilsonville Great reviews by many friends on both |
Awesome, I already checked with Highline and have heard great things as well - however I would love to avoid spending ~300$ just to remove and replace the tint. I'll give Tommy's and Kingpin a call, and see where they stand. Anyone familiar with tint removal? Might be cheaper to just remove it myself if it is easy-ish, and then pay to have a good tint install.

GuardLine has some pretty good deals sometimes, they seem to do some cool work. |
There's one down on Airport way near/in(?) SODO that looked pretty high-end, I'll see if I can track down a number for you. Also, keep an eye on Groupon and LivingSocial -- there's been specials on tint -- $125-150. .

Kingpin audio & tint had a special discount if you showed them your CWP.

Guys, how about this? http://www.groupon.com/deals/emerald...ng-signs-inc-1

I would call in advance. "some extra fees for sports car" "4 door sedans" -they might charge you for our little 5th window next to rear passenger window.
|
I called ahead and asked how much for previous tint removal and the Engrish speaking "jennifer" on the other end of the line said anywhere from $90-125, depending on how much labor was needed for said removal. I forgot about the little window . . Damn.
Tint isn't hard to remove, is it? Seems simple like any other guy activity -- soap, water, and a lot of tugging. ;) |
I've never removed it but I can't imagine it being that difficult. You could call around and see if any of the other shops remove for free/cheaper. You could even do the ones here in Portland if you decide to get my exhaust.
