All lit up
 

So I'm on my way home right now and my dash lit up with a solid check engine light and traction control and blinking cruise and parking brake lights....

Sorry for the bad pics. Anyone know what this means?

Check codes. Mine did that a couple of nights ago. Basically overboost or whatnot - p0108 was my code. I took out my AP, cleared it, and haven't had it comeback since. Did a bunch of WOT on all gears too just to see. I'm boosting at @20psi and I think im in the upper area of touchiness for the MAF so it was a very cold night and I might have put just too much air flow that the sensor freaked.

They all go off when a CEL is triggered. Learned that during my CNT downpipe fiasco because the car threw a code for the o2 sensor.

You would think that just the check engine light would come on, not everything. I couldn't even use my cruise control.

Is there a way to pull codes without having to go to the dealer?

Have an Autozone near you? I've had them read a CEL before on a previous car.

Ive had the same experience as islandborn. Usually on a 3rd or 4th gear pull on a cold evening.

This happened in fourth gear as I was merging onto the highway. It was about 25 degrees out, not much different than its been the past couple of weeks. And I wouldn't consider it a 4th gear "pull" on a 2.5i:rolleyes::)

They just opened an Advance Auto about 25 min from me. I'm going to stop in tomorrow on my way to work

If I remember correctly, you work nearby me, correct? I have an old OBDii code reader. I've already used it to pull a code and reset the CEL on my car, so I know it'll work on yours.

Try a reset and see if it comes back on... Mine lit up and after a reset it went away...... and never came back.

Gt mine has done this Several times now. Once for a code PO420.A Low Catalytic efficeniency test was done and a converter and sensor was found operating as designed. They reset it.
Next this past Jan a PO171 lean monitor A/F sensor output was incorrect They installed a 22641AA54A Front A/F Sensor and cleared codes. No problems yet but All this after my engine was replaced due to a dealer Tech performed faulty oil change makes me not trust this car. 21000 miles on the car now.
So far all under warranty.
You would think that all the lights would not come on just the engine check light but that's the way Subaru works

Better to scan first and find out what the code is before resetting. It's probably a stupid code, but better safe than sorry.

I appreciate the offer but I work evenings and it seems everything at work breaks when its cold out so I probably couldn't get over by you. I'm going to stop at AAP on my ride in. Thanks buddy :)
