Powder Coating in the South Sound?
I'm looking to get my wheels powder coated, wanted to see if anyone had any positive reccomendations or any places I should avoid.
|
Not sure if they do wheels, I've only had them do thermal coating, but...
Performance Coatings in Auburn. They do all my work, and will continue to. I have yet to have a unsavory experience. EDIT: I just searched around on Nasioc a bit and got these shop names for you to look at (listed in order of amount of reviews I saw): Perfection Powder Coat - Puyallup American Powder Coating - Auburn Forever Powder Coating - Tumwater |
Perfection Powder Coat. I haven't had anything done by them yet, but i talked to the owner on the phone and it was great. Super nice and knowledgeable, and i have heard awesome things about them.

I wonder if any of them could do patterns . . . ? If I don't get my stock wheels powdercoated gold/bronze, I'd like to have dark blue paisley. Maybe only on the left wheels, though.

I just got a bunch of stuff done by Perfection Powder Coat and would recommend them. You will see my car soon so you can see in person the quality of their work.

Thanks for the info, looks like I'll be visiting Perfection Powdercoat very soon.

I've had my wheels powdercoated by American Powdercoaging and they were awful so stay away. Wheels took twice as long as they said they tried to up the price and when I went to pick them up they were still very warm as if they had just gotten em done even though they had them for over 3 weeks. The color was wrong and there were a lot of dimples and other imperfections.
I then had them stripped and re-coated by Forever Powdercoating in Tumwater. They were great with good pricing, huge color selection, and awesome customer service. I'll def go to them for my next set. |
