Hello everyone!

I would like to introduce myself as Sodium.

I have just got my Scoob, 06' LGT Limited. 5spd black on black.

I love this car and have had my eye's set on this vehicle for quite sometime. I been on the prowl on a WRX 2002-2004 because i thought the LGT was way out of my price range, but the other day i found her. I am looking forward to do basic mods. Coming from the Honda scene...this is way better. Even though i miss my honda :/ . I will eventually upgrade the exhaust to something i am still researching, and also a DP, UP and a cobb access port. I want this thing to be FAST. and suspension wise i will be upgrading to Coilovers and definitely getting rid of those wheel to something more agressive.

Any how, a little about myself. I work as a service technician at KIA. Pretty nice vehicles i must say, at least the newer line. I am a musician/DJ/Producer. Upcoming here in Colorado. Been in the Electronic Dance music scene from some time playing at basically the best known clubs in denver....Beta, Church, Vinyl...I am trying to get more show's and shit even Djing at parties. I also am attending college gettin that edgumication in Business management. Pretty dope.

Here is a link to my music..check it out! https://soundcloud.com/sodiumn

With out further a do....here she is.

She does look a little different now. i will update pics soon :)

A friend just got an Integra SX. Really nice car, he's busy modding out the electronics via Korean websites for after market stuff.

I would really consider this car if it was AWD..

Welcome to the site.

You have some pretty raw beats!

I assume you know how to use a laptop being a dj and all, take a look in the tuning section, you have an 06 so you can use the cheap vag com cable from ebay and get a custom etune from several companies on the forum for 150 bucks which includes like several revisions on the same setup.

Vag com? what is that exactly? is it better than an AP? something i really wanna look into!

vag i believe is short for volkswagon audi group , com for communication. Its just a usb cable with an obd2 connector, basically it allows communication between obd2<=>usb.

3 ways to tune your car
-go to a professional/shop that does tuning
-get an accessport and use the base maps or get the accessport and then get a custom ap map and use that.
-use a laptop and vagcom(05-06)/tactrix(05+) cable with a laptop and get a custom map.

Basically you can use the ap and not have to go to a tuner or get an etune, but those maps arent nearly as good as a custom tune($500) or etune($150). The last option will give you the same results but at the lowest cost. AP is for more convience and ease of use imo. But if you have a laptop and dont mind using it to datalog then I recommend that route. AP is handheld and some people prefer its straight forwardness.

Basically for 170 bucks you can get a better tune than an AP(around 400 used, 500-600 new) otherwise to get a better tune via AP its between 400-600 + another 150 for a custom map. Your choice!

Use this cable when your GF is not close by.
