2013 front end, on outback
 

Hey guys! I have a 2010 outback, and am interested in putting the 2013 Legacy front on it. It looks sick, and it's how the JDM outbacks look.

I am wondering though, if anyone knows if a 2012 grille will fit on a 2013 bumper? I know they "look" different, but that's not proof. I'm also looking for the accessories to bolt onto a 2013 bumper lik lower grill, fog light hole plugs ( don't want the fog lights) etc.... any help would be amazing!

From the best we can tell, the 2013 Legacy updated front end fitment to the 2010-2012 Legacy would involve bumper cover, grille and your choice of fog light or fog light blank panels in the lower fascia. Headlight fitment is the same, however, some of the 2013 headlights are blacked out.

This has not been confirmed by anyone actually doing it, this is just the supposed parts list so far. And this is USDM models. This fitment to an Outback is likely but has not been contemplated or confirmed.

Yeah, the bumper will fit fine. The reinforcement and foam are the same supposedly. BUT the grill looks bigger. I really wanted to do the 2013 bumper, with 2012 grille. But me thinks the 2012 grill is too small.....

I wonder if anyone here has upgraded to fog lights from their non fog 2013??

Grille is taller than the 10-12. RoW outbacks do not have the same front end as the legacy, it's still different.

They do however sell legacy wagons outside the us

As I read you, you want a 2012 Legacy grille and a 2013 Legacy grille for your Outback, right? If so, you are right that the 2012 grille is too small. The 2013 Legacy grille reaches at least 1 inch more into the bumper than the 2010-2012 Legacy grille.

I did the fog light upgrade on my 2013 and thus have the blank inserts.

I want to see this done!!!
