How hot/How cold!

Figured I would start this up for you folks that live in extreme climates (hot or cold).

Woke up this am to almost subzero temps and have never seen my outside temp gauge read this low. I only live in Mass. so not too extreme. How hot or cold have you seen with pics for proof. Yeah, I know our gauges are not 100% accurate, but who cares. Oh, and no tampering with sensor in grill with a heat gun or ice etc. or you will be arrested ;)

Taken July 22, 2011 in Central Pa during a heat wave. Official high temp that day was 102. Car had been in the parking lot facing the sun in the afternoon.

Just took this in my garage a little before 7AM. Yesterday's high was 81. Today is supposed to be 81 again. Not bragging, but I'm not complaining either.

Yep, it was 1 F this morning in NY.

Can the reading go negative?

I should have taken a picture, but last night on my way home, my car read -7 F here in MN. Windchills were around -19

I was curious too if it reads negative and apparently it does. It just needed 2 degrees colder, oh well. 116, holy shiit, was your dash melting in that heat??

MN3.6R 01-24-2013 10:09 AM

Yes it does read negative. The coldest ever which I use to have a picture of was -19 in my WRX when I lived in Colorado.
