recommended pump/injectors for vf52
so i picked up my vf52 from the post office today. going with the advice of several people here along with efi i'm going to do tmic, ebcs, fuel pump and injectors. christ this is getting out of hand! :spin:
anyhow, what are your thoughts on pump/injectors, have any reco's? also am i good on the stock oil line to the turbo provided i keep the banjo bolt clean (or removed?) or should an aftermarket line be on the list as well? thanks kindly! |
DW 740's and a Walbro 255 pump should do the trick. I loved my VF52 with my EFI tune.

Stock injectors work fine with a VF52. I would recommend a DW65c.

Stock injectors for Top feed 07+ work fine. I could be wrong but side feed's on the 05 aren't going to flow enough to get anything out of the VF52. I would honestly check with EFI. I ran stock fueling and the stock FP but like I said I had an 07.

From what I've seen, your IDC's are pushing it if you stick with the stock side feeds on an '05. Well worth going with 740's or more if you plan to upgrade later. I've run flawless with mine and appreciate the extra head room. You'll be able to maximize your 52 upgrade as well...

Meh, 90-95% isn't unreasonable. It's when you start getting up past that that it's a problem. The only time you'd do that with a 16G or VF52 is high in the RPM range, and tuners can compensate for that just fine by tapering the boost.

Suppose thats fine for the street but my Legacy is strictly a track car so she sees lots of time in high revs. I'll take the extra insurance :)
