17" wheel recommendations
Right now I have 18x7.5 ProDrive GC010Es, but I'm looking to go back to a 17" wheel. I'm considering going back to OEM wheels, but I'd go for a solid, DD-friendly set of aftermarket wheels as well. If I go back to aftermarket 17s, I'll go with a 17x8 set and I haven't decided which tires I'd go with yet. All that said, what aftermarket 17" wheels are worth taking a look at if I can't find a mint set of OEM wheels?

anything that's low pressure cast or flow form cast

I'd like to be able to sell my current wheel/tire combo to cover the cost of the 17" setup. Current setup = ProDrive GC010E (18x7.5) + Bridgestone PP RE970 (225/40R18). |

What size tires do you have on them? |
225/45-17 Dunlop Wintersport 3D
If I wasn't using them with winter/snow tires I would probably run a 235 or 245 on there to take advantage of the width and square up the shoulders a bit. |
Advan rcii's? 17x8.5. Hard to find tho, they're discontinued.

Enkei Racing series
5zigen zr+520? Work Emotion? you got a lot of choices if you don't want 17x9 like I do... you can even find TE37s for only around 1500... |

Volk 17" CE28N - forged and sub 14lbs... also know of a set that might make it to market ;)

Enkei for sure. Lots of beautiful designs in 17" that are high quality yet not forged.
if you want new, I'd go Enkei. Otherwise I'd hold out for a nice used set of Volk or Advan or Works or Weds. Drift Motion and I have similar tastes. |
Any of those would be the s3x on my car, and assuming can find the right set in 17x8 I now have some ideas thanks to all the suggestions :)
